Salisbury Cathedral School invites all music enthusiasts to our forthcoming recital by The Serenata Guitar Trio, formed by John Mills, Cobie Smit and Wendy Partridge. John Mills was a former student of John Williams and was selected to attend a master class given by Segovia in 1968. He also prepared Julian Breams nails prior to a concert on more than one occasion! Dutch guitarist Cobi Smit once taught at the Royal Conservatoire of Rotterdam and Wendy Partridge at the Royal Academy of Music. This is a chance to hear three classical-Spanish guitars in a relaxing concert of well-known melodies from widely ranging periods including Baroque, Classical-Romantic and 20th Century.
