Come and EXPERIENCE authentic Argentine TANGO in Salisbury!
TANGO is a fascinating and magical social dance that is tightly bound to its wonderful music.
Social tango is based on improvisation and communication with your dancing partner. There are no routines, it's not about learning a choreography and kicking legs in the air, but about using a 'language' to connect with another fellow human and express the beautiful tango music with movement.
Yuri 'Gaúcho' and Kate (Meta Fierro Tango) will give a brief talk animated by dance demonstrations and followed by a taster session. They will guide you through the basics and share with you many aspects of this dance and music.
The taster session is for complete beginners. No age limitation, IF YOU CAN WALK YOU CAN TANGO! No partner needed, so just come along!
NB: wear any clothes you feel comfortable to move in, the same for shoes
