Current - The Art of Salisbury River Park

The Current: The Art of Salisbury River Park exhibition, hosted by the Young Gallery, celebrates the new, permanent artworks that have been created for the Salisbury River Park, which aim to reconnect the city with the river. A visit to the exhibition will help residents and visitors alike gain a deeper understanding about how the arts programme has developed, and the stories and inspiration behind the artworks, particularly the very special biodiversity found in and around the river Avon.

Patch's Parade

Patch is a giant who lives beneath Milford Street Bridge and is very, very shy. Patch loves looking at the wonderful murals painted on the walls but dreams of venturing out into the exciting city of Salisbury to meet other giants.

This isn't going to be any ordinary Sunday though...music is playing, there are dancers in the street and with help from Penguin, Patch feels brave enough to step out on a big adventure.

Rap Masterclass

Join South West based hip-hop artist Isaiah Dreads for an introduction to writing, performing and recording rap music. All resources and technology will be provided, and no experience is necessary.

Isaiah has performed at festivals across the UK including Glastonbury and the Isle of Wight Festival. Through performing and consistent release of videos online he has become an acclaimed MC and rapper, with over 7 million streams on Spotify this year.
