Hudson's Field

Hudson's Field is a large open space to the north of the city just below the remains of Old Sarum castle. The field is used for a number of sports, with football pitches, rugby pitches and two wickets for cricket. Many events are also held here.

The field is so large you could try out kite flying or land surfing! Or, it’s just as popular with runners, dog walkers, picnickers and families.

  • Opening Hours - The field is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

    Parking - There is limited free parking on site.

    Toilets - Toilets are not available. The nearest public toilets are at Victoria Park.

    Accessibility - Hudson's Field is a grass area. 

    Dogs - Dogs are welcome, but please make sure you clean up after them.

    Management - Hudson's Field is managed and cared for by Salisbury City Council.
