There are lots of ways to access Salisbury whether you’re travelling by car, train, bus or coach.

If you are planning a visit to Salisbury this Christmas, here’s some helpful information to help you find us.


There are a number of easily accessible long and short stay car parks in the centre of Salisbury.

Parking in Culver Street car park is free from 3pm Monday - Saturday.

All Wiltshire Council car parks are free on Sundays.

Park & Ride

There are 5 convenient Park & Ride sites on the outskirts of the city which provide a regular bus service into Salisbury city centre Monday - Saturday.

Coach Parks

The coach drop off/pick up point is on Blue Boar Row, SP1 1DA and St Johns Street, SP1 2SB.

The coach park can be found at Millstream Coach Park, SP1 3UE. Overflow parking is available at Britford Park & Ride, SP5 4DS.


Salisbury train station is located at the south western edge of the city and just a 10 minute walk from Salisbury's Market Place, where the Christmas Fayre and ice rink will be found.

Salisbury is on the main London and Bristol railway lines and has direct links to Southampton, Bath, Basingstoke and Exeter.
