Recycle and donate your Christmas Tree with Salisbury Hospice Charity
Love having a real tree at Christmas but hate the New Year clean up? Salisbury Hospice Charity have the answer.
Following the huge success of last year’s initiative during which more than 600 trees were collected, raising over £7,000 of vital funds for the hospice, the Charity is once again running the scheme in conjunction with the charity Just Helping. They will also make a donation of 10% (after costs) to another local charity. The collection also helps the environment as all of the trees are chipped and recycled as animal bedding on a local farm.
All that the Charity asks is for a donation (suggested minimum £10) in return for the collection and recycling of your tree by their wonderful volunteers.
Each year Salisbury Hospice Charity aims to raise £1.5 million, over 60% of the £2.4 million needed to maintain the vital palliative care services at the hospice.
To have your tree collected and recycled after the festive season, register here or call 01722 416353, by 6th January 2020.
