If you and the family are in need of some extra festive fun this Christmas then there is still time to book tickets to see LITTLE ROBIN REDBREAST at Salisbury Playhouse.
LITTLE ROBIN REDBREAST previously entertained people in sell-out performances in The Salberg but this December it will be staged on the Main Stage of Salisbury Playhouse, in a transformed and Covid-secure auditorium.
The production focusses on little Robin who’s excitedly awaiting Christmas. To help him count down the days, Mummy and Daddy have given him an advent calendar. Behind every window is a picture and every picture tells a story. Robin links the pictures together as he makes his magical, musical journey towards Christmas Day, encountering a street-wise squirrel, an attention-seeking mouse, a family of reindeer and a curious cat along the way.
The cast features many familiar faces to the Salisbury Playhouse stage:
Bernadette Bangura who shaked and shimmied as the Sheriff's Spanish housekeeper, Consuela in Salisbury Playhouse hit pantomime Robin Hood last year. Bangura was also the finalist in All Together Now, BBC; Jesus Christ Superstar, London’s Barbican. They also welcome back Ryan Heenan who just before lockdown was at the RSC in Robbie Williams adaptation of David Walliams The Boy in the Dress and has also played the lead in another Walliams adaptation, Billionaire Boy.
There are morning, afternoon and evening performances running from Monday 7th to Sunday 27th December. Tickets from £10.
